Mentoring and guidance of indigenous students in the Intercultural Education undergraduate program at UFG are organized through the Steering Committees. The committees represent one or more ethnic groups and are composed of current students, alumni, and professors from NTFSI (Núcleo Takinahaky), in addition to members of indigenous communities. Lab faculty are mentors of the Krikati, Xavante, and Xingu committees. Below we present a glimpse of activities from each committee that go much further to the frontiers of the Ethnobiology and Biodiversity Lab.
